An industrial visit was organized for Class XI & XII Commerce students to Patanjali Food and Herbal Park, Haridwar on 15th Oct. This kind of short industrial visit helps to bridge the gap between classroom and the real field world.
Students are benefited to learnt about “real life” examples of business like how through generous efforts of Swami Ramdev and his company India is prospering in the field of Ayurveda and Herbal products. Students were excited to know about ‘Zero waste technology’, followed by them. They also came to know that even the seed of Amla is used with the help of de stoning machines. Whatever is left after making the juice is used in making laddu’s and rest is given as a fodder to the animals.
Students were also served candies made of amla which in the foreign countries is now popularly known as Indian chocolate. This was a new experience for the students of Tula’s International School.
