Admission Procedure

The session of Tula’s International School commences in April for all the classes and ends on March 31st of the subsequent year. Prospectus can be purchased from the school admission office on payment or downloaded from our website the payment for which is to be made while registering the child. Registration form has to be then submitted to the school admission office along with the documents mentioned in the prospectus.

The school has opened up registrations from classes IV to IX and XI for the academic session 2019-20. Any child seeking admission in class V should have attained the age of 8 or 8+ on or before 31st of March in the year in which admission is sought. The decision of the school authorities is final and binding in all cases. Any false or incorrect information furnished may jeopardize selection and enrollment.

Registration (Registration is mandatory for admission)

Registration and admission start for grades IV–IX and XI in the month of December and Admissions for XI & XII start after the declaration of class Xth results. The school academic session starts in the month of April every year. Hence registration application should reach the school before 31st March in the year that admission is sought. Filing and submitting of application form does not guarantee admission to the school. Admission would be finalized after a counselling session with the child and on the availability of seats.

Limited vacancies may exist in the middle of academic year. Information on mid-year vacancies may be obtained by emailing the school admission office. However, it is desirable that all admission formalities are completed well before the end of March.

The registration form along with the school prospectus is available in the school office or you can apply online also.

Complete registration form along with the registration fees should be submitted in favor of Tula’s International School, Dehradun. Registration Fees once paid is neither refundable nor transferable under any circumstances.

Entrance Test/ Interview

After submission of the registration form for class 5th to 9th, all registered candidates are expected to appear for an entrance exam which will be followed by an interaction with the Principal to complete the prerequisites for admission. The Entrance test also checks the educational foundation of applicants. Entrance test will be conducted by Tula’s International School at its own campus.

This Test will contain three main papers – Mathematics, English, Science and General Studies which will be 25 Marks each. The students will be judged on the basis of the marks that they score in the entrance test.

For those applicants who want admission in 11th or 12th class, an interview will be conducted at the campus of Tula’s after submission of the registration form.

Admission to Class XI is provisional till the declaration of the Board results.

The interview gives an opportunity to the student to get more information about being a part of Tula’s International School. This interview may occur at any time during the meeting procedure and likewise enables the family to make imperative inquiries.

Documents Required

Once the admission is confirmed you have to pay the applicable fees along with the below-mentioned documents:

  • Attested photocopy of Mark-Sheet/ Report Card
  • Attested photocopy of Birth Certificate
  • Original Transfer Certificate
  • Passport is Mandatory
  • Photocopy of Address & Identity proof
  • 5 Recent passport size photographs of the child
  • 1 Passport size photograph of father and mother
  • 1 Passport size photograph of local guardian ( if any)

Final

As soon as the school receives the admission fees, you will be sent the medical form which should be duly filled up and immediately returned back to the school office.

In case a student has withdrawn from school because of any reasons such as medical issues, then the seats will be refilled in the middle of the academic year.

Also, admissions may happen in the middle of the academic year according to the availability of vacancies due to any reasons. Information on mid-year vacancies may be obtained by emailing the school admission office.
