6th FOUNDER’S DAY COMMEMORATES IN FULL GALA

The 6TH FOUNDER’S DAY of Tula’s International School commemorated in full gala amidst the beautiful lights of Diwali festival on October 23, 2019 in the auditorium of Tula’s Institute. The Chief Guest of the evening was Mr Anurag Tripathi, Secretary CBSE, New Delhi (IRPS) and the Guest of Honour was Lt. Commander Payal Gupta, Nao Sena Medal Gallantry Indian Navy. Dr Sanjay Prakash Saxena MBBS & MD(Med. AIIMS), Mr Shekhar Chandra, Assistant Secretary CBSE Regional Office Dehradun, Dr B.N. Singh Dy Secy Head COE and Mrs Taruna Marwah and Mr Radhey Marwah graced the occasion with their benign presence as Special Guests.
The event began with the arrival of the dignitaries and their welcome with stole presentation. The dignitaries lighted the lamp of learning to steer the programme further. The cultural evening commenced with a ‘Tribute to the legendary singer Michael Jackson’ by the young talented band and choir group of Tula’s who presented the song ‘Heal the World’. The song concluded with tribute to the ace music composer A.R. Rehman. This was followed by ‘Fusion’ a classical music presentation based on Raag Puniya Dhanashree. Both the presentations were well received with thunderous applause by the audience. Akshit Bhandari the child dancer prodigy also presented his acrobatic style of dance and mesmerised the gathering. He was felicitated by the Tula’s management with a cash prize of Rs. 10,000/- and a souvenir. Tula’s student innovators presented their R & D video presentation on innovative gadgets created by them. ‘Pita’ a contemporary dance presentation stole the hearts of one and all. The mesmerising performance also saw some parents wiping off their tears. The founder’s day event also marked the honouring of meritorious students of all the classes including the toppers of the CBSE Board Examinations 2018-19 Class X & XII. The rank holders were felicitated by the dignitaries with medals and certificates. The much awaited presented was a dance Drama‘Aladdin- A Wonder of Arabian Nights’ which had the audience enthralling and the auditorium was reverberated with the sound of thunderous applause from all corners. Ms Shaline Sharma Principal of the School addressed the august gathering and shared her wonderful motivational thoughts. Chief Guest Mr Anurag Tripathi, Secretary CBSE, New Delhi (IRPS) enlightened the parents and students with his words of wisdom and laid stress the education should be learning for facing challenges of life. Guest of Honour Lt. Commander Payal Gupta, Nao Sena Medal Gallantry, Indian Navy, in her speech, laid emphasis on the aspect of letting the girl child spread her wings and explore the world. Mr Raman Koushal Vice Principal of Tula’s International School proposed the vote of thanks. Art and Craft Exhibition was also organised in the morning at Tula’s Amphitheatre to mark the Founder’s Day celebration in which students displayed paintings and artefacts made by them. Last but not the least lucky draw was organised in which many students, teachers and parents won several prizes.
