International Volleyball Player Gurchand Singh visited the Tula’s International School today. He interacted with the Volleyball players of the school.
During his visit he taught students several tricks and moves of the Volleyball. TIS students enthusiastically asked several questions about the game.
He also introduced a range of techniques to the students to help them improve their skills.
Speaking on the occasion, Gurchand Singh said, “The best part of the day was getting to see how happy and intrigued the students were during the interaction. I had a great time visiting the school and meeting the volleyball enthusiasts.” He further suggested that, “One should play games to keep themselves fit and healthy.”
He also shared his life story with the students. Gurchand Singh is currently associated with ONGC. He has represented India in ‘Asian Senior Men’s Volleyball Championship’. He has been awarded as the ‘Pride of Punjab’ by Punjab police in 2007.
The Director Tula’s International School Raunak Jain and the Principal Shalini Sharma thanked Gurchand Singh for visiting the school and encouraging the students.
