UTTARAKHAND SPECIAL ASSEMBLY

November month is special for the inhabitants of Uttarakhand as it was on the ninth day of this month in the year 2000 that Uttarakhand was declared as the 27 th state of India and students of Tula’s celebrated the occasion in a grand way through the special assembly dedicated to the beautiful state also termed as Dev Bhoomi at its
Amphitheatre on November 13, 2019. The ambience was beautifully decorated as per the theme with informative charts and banners on Uttarakhand. The programme began with obeisance to Goddess Saraswati with Saraswati Vandana presented by students of Grade VIII and IX. This was followed by Pahari Dance presented by students of IX and X. The Nanda Devi Doli mesmerised one and all and the entire place reverberated with large round of applause for the palanquin bearers from Grade VII and X. Khushi Raj and Smrity of Grade XI shared valuable information on Uttarakhand, its heritage and culture through their flawless anchoring. The entire programme was very organised and depicted learning beyond the four walls of the classroom and concluded with blessings and words of appreciation for students from the Dean of Academics and Head of Middle School.
