Students of Tula’s International School, Dehradun donned their ‘Chef Caps’ to exhibit their culinary skills in ‘KhanaKhazana’, ‘Cooking without fire’. Inter-house competition held on May 1 st 2019. Children participated with full zeal and enthusiasm as they doled out nutritious yet delectable Cuisines. Selected post exhaustive research on the recipes chores by each of the four houses. Dishes were judged on nutrition, presentation and taste by esteemed judges Mr Sunil Kumar Jain (Honourable Chair Person Tula’s Group), Mr Raghav Garg (Vice President Technology, Tula’s Institute) and Ms Shalini Sharma (Principal, Tula’s International School). They interacted with the budding Chef’s to find out the ingredients of the recipes and the nutritional value of the dishes prepared. Judges were overawed by the efforts of the participants and results were announced amidst tough competition. First position was secured by ‘Titan House’ closely followed by ‘Trojan House’ which bagged second positon. The third position was shared by ‘Spartan House’. The event not only provided a platform for the students to faster their creativity and decision-making skills but also helped them explore their hidden talents and discover new areas of interest.
