This Dehradun CBSE school gives students a very special experience. The daily routine and the communal living they experience at an early age help them learn self-discipline, respect for their peers and self-reliance, so essential in today’s world.

A typical day of a student at TIS is as follows:

Wake up bell at 6:30 am is followed by P.T. for 35 minutes. The children then get ready for breakfast, which is followed by the school assembly, organized by a different group of children each day.

Post assembly, students break up for their classes until 11:25 pm with a juice break at 11:30 am and lunch break at 2:00 pm. After relaxing for a while after school, students have their MOD/remedial classes where they get extra coaching in subjects they feel they are weak in. After this they take part in extra-curricular activities like sports, debating, etc. till 6:00 pm.

Thereafter, students return to their hostels and attend to their homework and self-study after a shower. Dinner is served at 7:30 pm. Students then get recreation time of 60 minutes, until its lights out at 10:00 pm.

The daily schedule keeps on changing as per the suitability for the students and due to climate changes also.
