The 71 st Republic Day of India was celebrated with great pomp and show at Tula’s International School amidst loud chants of patriotic songs echoing in the entire ambience beautifully decorated with tricolour flags and balloons.
Principal Ms Shalini Sharma hoisted the tricolour flag followed by the singing of the National Anthem by the entire school.
Anshul Shukla student of Grade X delivered a speech in which he laid stress on the importance the Republic Day celebrations and the relevance of the Constitution in today’s time. The school choir sang the National Song ‘Saare
Jahan Se Acha Hindustan Hamara’ which was a soulful rendition. Hindi Teacher Ms Usha Pundir read out the message of Director General, Department of School Education Uttarakhand Ms R Meenakshi Sundaram (IAS) to students and teachers. Sweets were distributed students to mark the celebrations.
