Vasant Panchami, a festival that marks the advent of the Spring season was celebrated with great reverence at Tula’s International School on 29 th January 2020. Vasant Panchmi is also the festival dedicated to Maa Saraswati the deity of knowledge, language music and arts. The programme began with the garlanding and offering of flowers and fruits to Maa Saraswati, by the Principal of the school Ms Shaline Sharma. Other dignitaries of the school and teachers also paid obeisance to the goddess by offering flowers. Ankit sir recited the Saraswati Mantra and prayer. Thereafter choir of the school presented the devotional song “ Hey Shardey Maa”. This was followed by a sitar recital by Harpreet Kaur student of Grade VIII. At the end of the programme, Principal greeted everyone on the occasion and blessed the students with her words of wisdom and prasada was distributed to students and staff.
